Sur La Table at City Centre is a kitchen store on Town & Country Boulevard with a teaching kitchen inside. Public classes are hands-on. You join other guests to make a group of four at a shared workstation, cook the full menu with a chef instructor, then eat family-style with your station. Portions are tasting size, not full entrées. Most classes run 2 to 2½ hours and cap at 20 people. In-store classes start at $49 per person, and the recipes arrive by email afterward.
Private events suit birthdays, showers and office outings, for groups of up to 20. Menus can be adjusted for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests, and team events can add competition or mystery elements. Sur La Table also runs live online classes over Zoom, priced per household.
Expect to stand the whole time on hard floors. The store holds a 4.9 Google rating from 1,416 reviews, and free parking is on the upper levels of the City Centre garages.

Most in-store classes last 2 to 2½ hours and are capped at 20 people. You cook in a group of four at a shared workstation. Specialty baking classes can run up to 3 hours.
You get a generous tasting portion of each dish, eaten family-style with your station group, not full entrée sizes. Recipes are emailed to you after class.
Most classes are for ages 14 and up, and minors must come with a paying adult. Some classes are 18+, which is noted on the class page.
Sur La Table does not serve alcohol. Beer and wine BYOB is allowed only at select locations, so call the City Centre store at (832) 201-3492 to check.
