Chef Naina Bhedwar invites you on a culinary trip through the Christmas kitchens and dining rooms of France, Finland, Iran, and South Africa. Each stop on the menu brings the flavors and traditions families in that country gather around each December. Together, you’ll build a festive feast that makes the world feel a little smaller and a lot more delicious.
Along the way, Chef Naina will share the techniques behind each country’s holiday table. You’ll see how to shape an impressive tear-and-share puff pastry centerpiece, build a delicate Nordic broth, and slowly coax a rich, glossy stew from pomegranate and toasted walnuts. You’ll also learn to bloom saffron for perfectly fragrant rice and bake a warm, syrup-soaked pudding that’s ideal for a crowd.
