Young Chefs Academy Austin SW TX is a kids cooking school at 6705 US-290, Suite 501. It is one location in a national franchise. The core program is a weekly class that follows a monthly theme, so each session builds on the skills from the last.
There are three tracks. KinderCooks suits preschool and elementary kids, with age-appropriate recipes, basic nutrition and kitchen safety. JuniorChefs builds on that. SeniorChefs is for students who meet set criteria and want to work more on their own with advanced techniques. A single KinderCooks class costs $59, and the KinderCooks monthly membership is $199 with a reserved seat each week and no annual contract.
The school also runs Friday night Kids Night Out, seasonal and summer camps, birthday parties, school field trips and workshops for families and adult groups. Corporate team building and a free intro class for new students are on offer too.
